LXDE

LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) is an extremely fast, energy-saving, and free desktop environment designed for low-resource or older computers.

LXDE uses very little CPU and RAM, often running on systems with minimal hardware specs.

Modular design: Components are separate and interchangeable, meaning you can use individual parts or swap out the default window manager, Openbox, for alternatives like Fluxbox or IceWM.
